Paige skipped around the school grounds. She was bored. She sighed to herself, and looked about her. Her friends were both ill, at home, and Paige honestly wasn't sure what to do. She sat by herself for a little bit, but that was boring for the young girl, so she stood and made her way through the school grounds, fiddling with her cardigan. She had a small backpack thrown over one shoulder, and a beanie hat covering her long silky hair. She ran her fingers through the ends of her hair, half of it had been plaited by her mother, but the remaining hair had been left down and wavy.
She was stopped by a few of her fellow class mates, but she wasn't in the mood to talk to them. She wanted to talk to Henry. She didn't know why they hadn't talked much, but she wanted to change that. Paige prided herself on being friendly, and yet she had yet to talk properly to the boy she thought was cute. She smiled to herself, and excused herself from the small group. She wandered around once more, looking for the young boy. He'd found his mother recently, his real mother, and honestly, Paige wondered what that must be like. She sighed, and bit her bottom lip, frowning. Where on earth was he. Paige wandered back inside, wondering if he was in one of the class rooms.
She stopped to tug at her tights and redo her laces, before looking in another of the class rooms. She figured that maybe he had wanted a quiet space to read that book of his. That was another thing the young girl was curious about... the book. She crossed her arms loosely, and nudged the door to another class room open. There was a figure sitting at the back of the room, and Paige lit up. Maybe it was Henry. She walked closer and smiled brightly. “Henry?” she called, “I was looking for you” she added, in a sweet voice.

It was the middle of the school day which also meant break time, all the kids where out and about playing around having lots of fun, playing thing's like tag, or playing games that were to do with their favourite television shows, others were playing follow the leader or other such games. The children were doing what most children did, running around the playground having an enormous amount of fun with no care in the world, obviously there were some teachers about making sure the kids had fun and did not hurt themselves too badly. They were fine those that fell over or took a few bumps easily got back up again and ran off to continue their fun, kids were resilient after all.
There were of course some kids who just had fun talking to their friends and not really doing all that much, it was a mixture of boys and girls who did that; some would say it was mainly the girls, this was not true though. There were also those that decided they would just keep doing their work but that was not many considering it was much more fun to play around and have fun.
Not everyone was joining in the fun though, no not everyone. Not Henry Mills, Henry was more preoccupied with reading the storybook at the moment and planning over Operation Cobra, he wanted to have everything planned out so he could go over it with Emma later. He smiled to himself as he thought of her glad she had stayed and like he had told her, he knew that she would believe him, she was important to the curse now they had to find a way to break it.
Henry at that moment was in one of the classrooms sitting at the back on one of the desks, what story was he reading you ask? Henry was reading the sad story of the Mad Hatter, the story without a happy ending, he had read it once but he wanted to read it again, maybe they could find the Mad Hatter in Storybrooke and help him, maybe it would weaken the curse. He was half way through the story when the door opened and a voice called out causing him to look up his face breaking into a smile as he saw Paige, who was Grace the Mad Hatter's daughter. Not that he would tell her that, telling her that would make her think he was crazy and well he'd hate for her to think that, Paige was cool not that he had talked to her much. "Hey Paige" he looked at her wondering why she was talking to him but yet glad she was here, he found himself grinning though as soon as she told him she was looking for him. Henry had no idea why but he found her cute when she said that and felt happier. "Really? Did you want something?" Henry replied with a smile closing the storybook and looking back up at her, not many people at school came looking for him so it was a little bit of a shock.

Paige's smile grew as she approached Henry. Sitting next to him, she glanced over at his book. “What's that?” she asked curiously. She always saw him with it, and she often wondered why. “Yes really” she nodded. She looked back at Henry, and smiled “I just wanted to know if you wanted to play or something?” she asked, her fingers pulling at her hair. Paige wasn't afraid to ask, but she was slightly afraid that he wanted to be alone and that she would have to walk back out alone.
“Or if you don't want to play we could read maybe, or sit there” she added after a moment. It always saddened her to see him or anyone alone. No one should be alone. She had always been a little jealous. Henry had Daniel there always, while they might not get along all the time, they always knew they had each other. Paige was an only child and at home she spent her time convincing her parents to have imaginary tea parties with her.
Paige smiled and tapped her feet as she waited for Henry to speak again. She sort of hoped that Henry would want to stay inside, since Paige hadn't really gotten a chance to speak to him properly and this would give her the right chance. “Where's Daniel?” she asked, she wondered whether his twin was out having fun with friends while he cooped himself up in a classroom with that book of his, Paige really hoped it was his choice and not because people didn't ask him to play, because if it was the latter Paige would feel incredibly guilty for not striking up a conversation before.

Henry smiled back at Paige but he found himself feeling a bit shy and not only that his smile showed that as well, she was rally cute and he did not want to say something wrong in front of her that would just be embarrassing and well he might end up scaring her off. That was something he would hate, for her to find him crazy like everyone else did, crazy for believing in the curse, not that his mother helped with that matter. When she asked about what the book was he bit his lip before looking up at her "oh well it's um," he bit his lip again "If I tell you, you'll think I'm crazy," he told her it's not that he did not want to he was just scared that was what he thought. When she answered that yes really his face lit up and it lit up even more when she asked if he wanted to play, this was something most people never asked him, he would love to do that. "I Would love to play," he replied a big grin on his face as he did so, then he thought of something "if I tell you about my book will you promise not think I'm crazy?" He asked her hopefully, hoping she would agree with it. "Um Daniel i think he's talking to a teacher or playing," he said unsure of what his twin was up to. Paige Kingsleigh
