Emma stopped talking when Mary Margaret hold up her hand and looked around the corner. She lifted up one brow, wondering why all of this had to be a secret to talk about. “Why would people be amazed by me?” Emma really didn’t get it. There was nothing amazing about her. In fact when she thought about it, there wasn’t exactly one thing in her life that would make her amazing. She wasn’t living exactly the most happy life. The only exciting moments she had some times are when she caught someone in her bail bonds job.
Emma followed every movement Mary Margaret made with her eyes and was very relieved when she took the cuffs away from around her wrists. While she rubbed over her wrists where the cuffs were, she leaned against one of the desks. She was already very glad that she wasn’t behind those cell bars already. “oh so, I guess I should give her the keys of her room back then when you let me go” she looked at her feet again, not really sure about the offer of Mary Margaret on going to live with her. Emma wasn’t really the roommate type. She already hated it sometimes when Neal lived with her in her apartment in Boston. Emma always had the urge to just be alone.
“Thanks for the offer Ms. Blanchard but, I’m not really a roommate type. It’s just not my thing. I do better on my own.” She gave her a friendly smile, hoping that Mary Margaret would understand it. Not that she wasn’t grateful for the offer, but she wasn’t really feeling like she should do it. Would it be smart to stay actually? The only thing that she would cause in staying was that Daniel and Henry would keep getting hurt. They are having someone who is taking care of them, even if it's quite a false woman against other grown ups... 'What do I have to do? Stay or go?' Emma was getting conflicted. The one moment she wanted to stay to just make her boys happy and make Regina's life to one living hell, but at the other moment she just wanted to leave all of this behind.
For the moment she decided to just stay for another night, probably crashing in her car as she won't be having a room left to sleep... also the thought of taking revenge on Regina was much stronger than the conflict on going back or not.

Mary at with a bewildered look, You really don't understand do you? People are amazed by you because you stood up against Regina. Your not afraid of her. furrowing her brow the sheriff scuff her shoes against the tile floor. Everyone except Mayor Gold was scared of this woman, but acted like it didn't effect or she just didn't give a damn and Mary found that freshing.
When the cuffs came off Mary knew she should put the prisoner in the cell. But Emma wasn't dangerous nor a threat to anyone.Yeah I'm sorry about that. crossing her arms , she got why Emma hesitate on the whole roommate issue. For one they just met and two she was arresting her.Listen if you want,I can talk to Granny tell her it was a misunderstanding
The brunette shook her head, it hurt the rejection. She didn't know why Emma saying no strung her but it hit right in her heart. Mary returned the smiled No problem, just thought I would offer. Since you maybe getting kicked out of Granny's Her brows popped up in surprise, why would she want to know what she thought? It was the first time in ...well since forever. Hell not even her boyfriend wanted her opinion on anything. Stay, whether Regina knows it or not you are good for those two boys.

“Believe me, it takes much more to make me afraid of someone than just shouting and threatening” she said with a grin. She just didn’t understand how it was possible that this woman was feared by so many people.
Emma listened to Mary Margaret’s opinion about all this, and maybe she was right. It would definitely piss the councilwoman off. A lot. “No, no you don’t have to do that. I already know that Granny won’t give me a room anymore. Because of the same reason everyone acts in this little town. Because she will be scared of Regina taking something away from her, when I will stay there. So…. I think I will go crashing in my car when you will let me go. Believe me, in the world of tights spots I’ve been in, crashing in my car doesn’t even rank the top ten.” Emma gave her a smile when she said this. She knew that Mary Margaret didn’t feel herself that great when Emma rejected the roommate offer, and hoped she would feel herself a bit better after she said this. Emma wasn’t really good in comforting someone, or showing any kind of emotion towards a stranger which Mary Margaret in fact still was. Emma felt that she was a nice and good person, but she still was a stranger to her.

Those aren't just threats Emma, the last person to stand up against her well lets everything they hold precious in this world. Mary was looking into ,she needed more of trail or a connection to Regina. Before she would dare give any proof to Mayor Gold. People don't just disappear with out a trace. The brunette gave Emma an empathic smile and nod. Running a hand through her hair. This wasn't right Regina should be able to this people, all this woman wanted to do was make sure her son were safe with control freak. Sighing Mary had to think of something to get Emma to stay. Those boys needed her whether she knew it or not. You know I'm the one who bought the book for Henry. Do you want to know why?Mary turned her butt rested against the desk top and she crossed her. Henry was becoming distant and he was always so sad. Regina made him start to go see Dr. Hopper, but it wasn't helping. Henry just started to shutdown. So decide to the boys a gift nothing fancy, just a little something. I found Daniel's gift at Mr.Clark's store, but Henry, his found me. Mary turned her head furrowing her dark brows. She knew that what she just said sounded crazy but it was true. Mary went to the pawn shop remember little knick knack of all kinds of different things. She had walked all over the store, but nothing was calling to her till she saw the large brown leather book way in the back. It was covered in dust all forgot by everyone. The when Mary when that was the gift. Emma Swan

Emma appreciated the fact that Mary Margaret tried to be there for her boys. Certainly for Henry, since it seemed like he was having the most problems. “Thank you for trying to make them more happy Ms. Blanchard. I’m sure they appreciate it as much like I do.” She gave her a grateful smile. It was sad when Mary Margaret was telling her about Henry being sad and lonely. Also when she didn’t had a bond with her sons, it did hurt her somehow. A kid shouldn’t be sad and feeling lonely. “Does Henry talk about those fairy tales with you as well? I mean, he does that all the time when he has the chance to talk to me.” She took a seat on one of the desks instead of a chair and crossed her arms. Emma wanted to know if Henry only talked about it against her, or also against others. If he did talk about it to others, then maybe someone else would know what’s got into Henry’s mind by having this obsession. tagged: Mary Margaret Blanchard

Mary still had her arms crossed when she shook her hand back and forth" No big deal, those boys are something special . So its no big deal, all I wanted to do was make them happy for a few." She stated nonchalantly. Henry and Daniel were life saver whether they knew it or not. On nights that particularly lonely some how one of the twins found her. She softly laughed her fingers through her short black hair. It was like those two where part bloodhound. "Yeah he has talked to me about it, how everyone in town is fairytale character." Mary shrugged "Its imagination so he has an over active one, no big deal you don't send a kid to therapy for it." The sheriff brace her palms against behind her on the desk top."So who does Henry think you are out of the book?" Emma Swan

It was 10 years ago that Emma gave both her sons up for adoption, to give them their best chance. But by all the things that Mary Margaret was telling her at the moment, she felt like she had failed to do so. It wasn’t her intension to send them to someone who could be that hard against them. Emma began to feel even more guilty, the more she thought about it. Was this the future she had in mind for her children? No, it wasn’t. Emma tried to keep this feelings of guilt hidden for Mary Margaret, like she was used to hide her emotions for everyone most of the time. If no one would know what you were feeling, they couldn’t hurt you with it. Emma looked like she was lost in thoughts and got out of it by Mary Margaret who asked who Henry thought she was in his book. “oh uhm, I’m not in the book…” a small smile followed by giving this answer. “Did he possibly mentioned who you were in the book?” Emma found herself ridiculous on asking this… now it sounded like she was starting to believe all this… Emma had to hold in a grin when she thought about herself asking this to someone. “I’ll better get going into one of those cells now right? Before Regina will arrive here, to check if you did your job like she told you to do. I don’t want to cause any more trouble like I’m already doing.” Emma stood up from the desk where she was sitting on and walked towards one of the jail cells, waiting for Mary Margaret to put her into one. Really? Thats a first everyone in town has there own character. arching a brow she pursed her lips thinking about it really ,Henry had one heck of imagination. She didn't understand Regina wanting to put a damper on those little boys dreams. Shaking her head it just made her sick to her stomach. Breaking out of her thoughts she realized Emma asked her something Don't laugh, Henry thinks I'm Snow White the sheriff herself broke out in a fit of laughter over the idea. She was many things a princess was not one of them. Sighing Mary had forgotten that Emma was there for "breaking an entry" that was a load bull if she ever heard of one. She would need to see Dr. Hopper about this to get his story on the whole deal. yeah I guess so, Emma if you do stay what will you do for money? The brunette walked her over to cell and unlocked pushing it forward allowing it to swing in. She wasn't trying to be nosey with the question, its just she could use a deputy. Plus that would make Regina really angry. Closing the cell door and locking it back. Emma I want to make a deal with you. Would you like to here the details?Emma Swan

“Well…” she looked down for a moment “I guess there wasn’t any character left to say it is me.” Emma knew good enough that she was in the book as well. At least this was what Henry kept on telling her. Emma listened to who Henry thought Ms. Blanchard was, but was actually surprised that he thought she was Snow White. Suddenly it came into her mind that Henry always told her that she was the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming, so that should mean that her mother was standing in front of her at this moment. All of this made the story of the curse even more difficult to believe, come on, this young woman, with the same age like Emma, being her mother. Nuhuh, hard to believe that. Emma couldn’t hold in a short laugh when Mary Margaret told her who Henry thought she was, just because it was sounding so ridiculous. “I see, so Snow White” Emma stepped into the jail cell while Mary Margaret asked her what she would do for a living here in town if she was planning to stay. Actually Emma didn’t really thought about that at all. With all the things happening, searching for a job was something not really logic to think about. She frowned her eyebrows while she thought about it “uhm.. actually I don’t know, believe me, I had already so many moments of silly in this short time, that I didn’t thought about that.”She leaned against the bars and put her arms through them when Mary Margaret mentioned making a deal. “A deal? I’m all ears”

Mary smiled when Emma said she was all ears Okay just listen first then you can say what ever you want. the sheriff began to pace she twirled her ring , she was trying to think of how to ask this without sounding off the wall. Then it dawn on her, what she could do, soft giggle escaped her lips. I will bail you right now to condition Emma Mary stop and cross her arms first condition you stay in town for at least a month, two you work here at the station so you aren't broke while staying in Storybrooke.Mary knew had every right to say know no but as sheriff she as had every right to keep her there for the full 48 hours if need be. The brunette didn't want to, she was doing this for the boys and small part for her. Moving closer to the bars , Mary bit her bottom lip, not sure which way this was going to go. Taking a deep breathe she smiled Do we have a deal? please say yes get to know your sons, she plead in her mind. Emma Swan

Emma was actually quite surprised by the deal this woman had in mind. “So you want to bail me out? Why would you do that?” Emma wasn’t exactly used to people who wanted to help her. Certainly not by people who were actually still strangers to her. “I have to say that your deal is sounding quite interesting. So the only thing I have to do is stay here for a month and work here you said? Well I think I can do that.” She reached out her hand to shake it and make it official “I say you have a deal Ms. Blanchard.” She said with a friendly smile. A few minutes later Emma looked at her feet while she had taken a seat at the small object that needed to look like a bed. Now that she thought a bit more about that deal, she sort of promised that she would stay at least a month. But staying inside her car for like a month wouldn’t be exactly that comfortable. Okay for a week, but a month? Nuhuh, not an option anymore. “Say uhm, Ms. Blanchard, do you actually know if this town has another vacancy to stay than Granny’s B&B?” Emma didn’t dare to ask her if the option on staying with her for a while was still open. Mary smiled when she listen to all the questions Emma was throwing at her. Reaching down to pick up her keys from her belt."I'm doing this because for one your you steal anything from Archie. Two your a good person and I trust you. Three if you leave now Henry will just find you again and then I will have to listen to Regina mouth. Yeah so I rather not. She quickly unlocked the the cell door, and opened the cage. The sheriff reached her hand out and shook the blonds "Good, then you can start as soon as tomorrow morning. The brunette smile dropped when she watched Emma move back to the cot,"Okay me explain the concept of freedom. I opened the door you get to ran away." She laughed."alright not funny." She shrugged and leaned against the metal door frame. "no one leaves StoryBrooke, and there aren't other hotel here." Sighing Mary walked over to the cot and sat down with a plop. "I know you said your not the roommate type. But I do have an extra bedroom, that you can use. Rent free , I can do all the cooking. It would be nice to have someone around for little bit. Think about it Emma,I'm not going to pressure you, but it would be better then sleeping in your car." Emma Swan

Emma knew that the black haired woman was right about Henry. He would indeed go and search for her again, and who knows what would happen while he was looking for her again. No, Mary Margaret was right, it was better to stay for a while. At least she got a job here as well. Emma couldn’t hold in her laugh when Mary Margaret joked about how freedom worked. “I know, sorry, I was just lost in thoughts….” She gave Ms. Blanchard a friendly smile, she was actually glad she met her. She wasn’t like most of the people were, who she met in her life. She was kind and caring, understanding and reasonable. Those were things that not many people possessed the latest time. Emma looked at Mary Margaret while they were still sitting in the jail cell. “Why isn’t anyone leaving Storybrooke? I mean, isn’t there someone who wants to see something else than this town? Like a city, or nature?”Not that Emma was a real nature person, actually she didn’t like nature at all, cause it always seemed to hate her. It makes her trip or fall on the ground every time she dares to enter some kind of forest. But she could imagine that there were people who did liked to be in the woods and stuff. “Okay, I will think about it, I will let you know tomorrow morning when I start my duty” she gave the black haired woman a wink. Actually she wanted to say yes immediately, but not wanting to sound too desperate she decided to give her answer the next day. Mary Margaret Blanchard

"Ahhh...well.." Mary rubbed the bridge of her nose, she was trying to think of someone, anyone who had left the town. Ruby always threaten to leave but she never does. Frowning she turned her head making some of here bangs to fall in her eyes. Blowing a huff of air to get the hair out of her vision, "To be honest , I don't know. I mean I've tried to think of someone, anyone who has left. But nothing." The sheriff shrugged and hopped off the cot"I guess no leaves because the cost of living is great and the crime is really low." The petite brunette smiled at Emma,"Alright look forward to your answer then." Crossing her arms she left the barred door open as walked out and toward her desk. Picking the paper work up that she had started for Emma."This is what I'm going to need you to do." Tapping her finger tips against the vanilla folder."You just have to fill out some of minor paper work and then your free to go " she smile wagging the folder in the air at her shoulder level. Emma didn’t understand why no one would want to leave this town. It’s not that it was that interesting or exciting. Actually it was quite boring in this town. It was even weird for Emma that she didn’t hear any sirens at all in the last couple of days she was here. Maybe Mary Margaret was indeed telling the truth about a very low crime level around here. Emma shrugged and stood up from the cot herself, not wanting to think about that anymore. She walked out of the jail cell and took the folder out of Mary Margaret’s hand with a smile. “I won’t say no to that, the sooner I get out of here, the better” she didn’t say that because she didn’t like Mary Margaret’s company, but in the time she was here, she actually got a lovely idea to let Regina pay for this set up. And damn she wasn’t going to like that idea. Emma was going to bring that idea in action from the moment she would be out of the station. She took a seat at one of the desks and started to fill in the forms. While she did that she couldn’t hold in a smile at the thought of Regina’s reaction to what she was planning to do. ‘you’re so going to be sorry for this Regina, you will get my word for that’ she thought to herself.
