The last few days for Henry had been some of the best in a long while for the ten year old; in fact he might even say the best ever. Henry was happy for one reason and one reason alone and that was his birth mother had decided to stay, at least from what he could tell. He had not exactly seen her today but well there was one big obvious sign, a big clue for Henry that he had spent most of the night and then some of the waking hours watching. Yes you guessed it, it was the Storybrooke clock tower, the very clock that had been broken and had never moved from its time his whole life. The Clock had been the very proof that Henry had needed to confirm that Emma had in fact decided to stay, that she really did care about him and about Daniel as well.
Now Henry just had to get started on moving things forward in getting the curse broken by Emma. He had ideas but he needed to run them by her first plus he needed to show her the pages he had ripped out of the book and to give them to her for safe keeping. Henry was sure she would be able to help save the town from the curse that his mother Regina cast, she was not the mayor but she was still powerful plus she was the Evil Queen. Emma was his real mother and he liked her much better already, unlike Regina she was not evil, though his twin brother Daniel had been rather angry at him for bringing her. Daniel though did not see it the way he did, he had told his brother a few things but he did not believe in the curse not one bit.
Henry had gotten up in the morning to watch the clock as it started to tell the time and then get dressed for school, he was earlier than normal but that was because he wanted to meet Emma before needing to go, he supposed he would find her at the diner. He had, had a run in with his mother Regina who seemed rather suspicious of Emma already and cross about the pages being ripped out of the book. They ended up getting into a small argument also waking up Daniel before Henry was able to escape the house and get to the diner. Which is where he was now, he had already ordered a Cinnamon hot Chocolate well actually two, one for himself and one for Emma, he waited in one of the booth's reading the storybook as he did on the story about Ruby also known as Little Red Riding Hood. He was sure that she would be here, and then they could start.

It was still early that day, but the sun was already showing himself. It looked like it was going to be a wonderful day. Emma woke up by the warm feeling of sunlight stroking her cheeks. ‘oh come on, don’t tell me it’s morning already’ holding her eyes closed, blocking away the sunlight she turned her back to the window, facing the alarm clock, which wasn’t in use for like ages it seemed. Slowly opening one eye, trying to adjust to the light in the room she looked at the time and let out a sigh. ‘7.15’ was showing on the clock display. ‘okay, here it goes then’ Pushing away the bedcovers Emma got out of bed, holding her arms around her because of the sudden cold air she could feel when she got out of her bed.
‘Pff this is going to be a long day again…’ after she got dressed, which didn’t take that long, as it was only a jeans and a tank top she had to put on, she made her way to the diner. Letting out one last yawn before she parked her yellow bug car in front of the diner. ‘one strong coffee would be exactly what I need right now’ she said to herself and got out of the car, getting her tank top in the right position again on her back by pulling on it.
Emma entered the diner and the little bell made her entrance noticed by the people who were already there. Emma wasn’t really used to see so many people, and certainly not when she was just out of her bed, so she tried to avoid an unwanted conversation by heading to the counter and took a seat at an high chair.
She didn’t notice Henry who was already sitting in one of the booth’s. Emma looked up when Granny appeared and placed a big cup of hot chocolate with cinnamon on the counter in front of her. Emma frowned her eyebrows. “Uhm, I didn’t order this” gesturing to the cup of hot chocolate.

Henry had been watching the door for a small while now just waiting patiently for Emma to appear, well as patiently as any ten year old boy could which meant there was fidgeting and maybe a tiny bit of boredom. Though that was easily cured by diving into the Storybook once more, after being able to get it back from his mum. He has found the story of Cinderella someone who he has yet to identify in Storybrooke. if she was in Storybrooke she would most likely be a maid or something similar, maybe she would even have a step family that hated her. Maybe that would be too similar but well he did notice that some of the people in Storybrooke had a lot of similarities to their fairytale selves if you just looked hard enough.
Henry did not have to wait all that long after a few false moment's of looking up from the book every time the bell rang and it not being Emma, he was drinking his own hot chocolate that he had ordered for himself and reading the last of the Story when Emma finally arrived. He quickly looked at the clock on the wall reading it to make sure there was enough time to do things before he went to school. Maybe he could get her to walk him there, they still needed to talk about the operation to break the curse.
Henry put the Storybook down and back into his backpack that at the moment was sitting in the space next to him, the ten year old still had plenty of time before school so he was not in much of rush. Plus missing a bit would not hurt too much. Emma did not notice him though but she did go straight to the counter where she was given her Hot Chocolate, which caused Henry to smile. That bit of the plan was done now he just had to get her to realize he was here. He found the perfect opening because as soon as Emma got the chocolate she was confused because she did not order it. "I did though" he told her turning around to look at her with a bright smile on his face. Henry then glanced at Ruby giving her a quick thank you nod for delivering the Hot Chocolate to Emma.

Emma turned her upper body to face the person that bought her a hot chocolate with cinnamon. To her surprise it was Henry, sitting in one of the nearby booth’s. She wasn’t really expecting to see someone familiar in the morning already, and answered him quite awkward, still adjusting that some people do indeed know her name here in this town, not just someone, one of her sons. “hey…kid” she gave him an awkward smile and took the cup of hot chocolate with cinnamon from the counter to put it one second later on the table where Henry was sitting. “Thanks for the…” she looked at the cup again “hot chocolate with cinnamon? How did you know that I like that?” That kid was a very good guesser. Taking a seat herself she frowned her eyebrows. “Don’t you need to be at school already?” Emma wasn’t really up to date when it came to knowing the school hours. Not only by the fact that she didn’t had a kid before that needed to go to school, but also because Emma wasn’t really the ‘going to school’ type.
When Ruby walked by their table, Emma let her stop "you can bring a bearclaw as well please” with one quick look at Henry she suddenly realised that she wasn’t sitting alone at the table like usual and decided it was best to ask if he needed one as well.

Emma had obviously not expected Henry to be there, he could tell that much and not just from her expression either, the way she answered him was what gave it away even more. Not that Henry had really expected her to considering he had not even told her that he would be here, or that he wanted to meet her here. Henry had thought that it would be a rather nice surprise and anyway he had wanted to get a discussion going about the curse and the final battle as soon as possible, there was no time to waste when at any moment the evil queen could figure out who Emma was. She was already intent on getting rid of her, he was sure of that much, Henry would hate to see what would happen once she realized that Emma was the saviour. His mum was evil if she found out she would most likely have some nasty evil scheme cooked up for Emma, they had to try and stop her now while they had the advantage.
Emma called him kid once more, something that from the looks of things had turned into an affectionate nickname, so while he did get a tiny bit annoyed at her not using his actual name, Henry found himself liking it. It was obvious as Henry has said to her the other day when she took him home that she liked him, and it was also obvious that she was not ready to hear the word mum or call him by his name, okay maybe she did at times but well it was not so bad. She had stayed for him and to break the curse after all.
Henry moved down to the space next to him to allow Emma to sit down next to him which she did also putting her hot Chocolate down upon the table. He grinned from ear to ear when she mentioned that she liked hot chocolate with cinnamon as well. It was something he had guessed she would like due to him liking it. He was glad that there was another similarity between them; he was not surprised one of his real parents had to like it. "I knew because I like it as well," he answered gesturing to his own hot chocolate before picking it up and finishing it off.
When she mentioned school he quickly glanced at the time to see how long he had, it was not too long until school but he certainly had plenty of time to talk to Emma about the curse, and the final battle, to put his operation into action before his mum realized what was going on. "Not yet, I've got to go soon though," he looked at her for a moment before smiling again happy she was here, for him and to break the curse. He titled his head looking at her curiously, "maybe you could walk me?" His tone said that he was not really going to take no for an answer he was sure she would do it anyway. Emma stopped Ruby as she passed asking for a bearclaw, then she looked back at him, she looked as if she was going to ask him if he wanted one so Henry decided to make the decision for her. "Can I have one as well please Ruby," he asked her with a smile.

“Or make it just two take away bearclaws please” Emma added to the order. She knew that Henry needed to be at school in time, or she would have another visit of the wonderful Regina again, blaming her for Henry arriving late at school. Even when Emma didn’t ask for it to happen. “Okay kid, grab your bag, I will go grab the bearclaws, and then I’m ready to walk you to school.” She gave the boy a small smile, not really used on walking a kid to school. Emma walked towards the counter where Ruby already put the bag with bearclaws on and paid for it. She turned herself around to see if Henry was ready, but to her surprise he was already standing at the door, ready to leave the diner. Emma walked towards him and pushed open the door so they could go outside. The first thing she did was handing over the bag of bearclaws. “here, take mine as well, maybe it will keep you concentrated for all those lessons.” She tried to be a bit funny, not that she was good at it, but at least she tried.
‘Okay, now what do you talk about with a 10 year old boy?’ that was the major question that popped into her mind. It wasn’t every day that she needed to do that. Against better knowing she decided to start about that curse he was always talking about. Maybe if she started about it, she would notice what was causing it. Since she didn’t had the chance to find it in his files. But first she also needed to know what was wrong between Henry and Regina. Had it always been like that between them? She walked next to him, trying to start a conversation. “So, what’s the deal with you and your mom?” Emma hoped she could find some answers in the response he would give. She put one hand in the pocket of her jeans and tapped with the fingers of her other hand on the red leather jacket she was wearing while they walked.

Emma instantly seem to be okay with the fact of walking him to school which was something Henry was very much happy about, it was another bit of proof that he knew she cared about him and as he had predicted would of stayed for him and Daniel as she did. Henry grinned as she mentioned about taking the bearclaw’s away, he returned her small smile and grabbed his backpack from the space next to him and slung it over his shoulders, "okay that's great," he told her his tone happy, happy that she was there, happy that someone would break the curse. As she went Henry picked up his hot chocolate and took a few more sips of it finishing it off, before her an over to the door to wait for Emma not really realizing he had bit of a frothy moustache from the hot chocolate, either way he stood by the door waiting.
When she brought them and came back to the door opening it he followed her out, once they got outside she gave him the bag of both the bearclaws, both of them all to himself, his eyes lit up and he smiled again feeling even happier, he had found himself rather hungry he had not really had much this morning. He very much doubted what she said about it keeping him going for all the lessons some maybe, he did giggle a little at what she said. "Really? Thank you," he replied happy enough now that he had something quick to eat; now he just had to find a way to talk about the curse.
He walked in step with her making sure to look both ways as they crossed the street, he was going to talk about the curse but even if there was no time there was always time later plus walking with his real mum was good enough. Henry did not have to worry though because as they walked on Emma gave him an opening to talk about it, she wanted to know what was going on between him and his mum. He bit into one of the bearclaws and chewed it a bit before looking up at her to explain. "It's not really about us it's more about her being the Evil Queen, and her curse," he bit back into the bearclaw again and waited a few moments before speaking again "we have to break it, or you do, but I can help I have a plan," he took another bite "I call it Operation Cobra it's step one."

‘and of course there he goes again about those fairy tales’ Emma thought to herself. It seemed like Henry couldn’t just talk to her without mentioning that curse once. Emma decided to go through with it, maybe that way she could find out why he was talking about this obsession all the time. Emma frowned her eyebrows.
“Wait… Operation Cobra? Cobra has nothing to do with fairy tales” She looked at Henry with frowned eyebrows, she really couldn’t follow this kid. Maybe it was because she wasn’t used to talk against a child, but really this kid is driving her crazy with his way of thinking. Then again he starts about his adoptive mom being the evil queen. Okay maybe she wasn’t the most easy woman, but it couldn’t be that bad. “Hmm so the evil queen you say? So, everyone is a fairy tale character, and they don’t know it, right?” she lift up one of her eyebrows. Searching for some confirmation about the things she was saying. ‘Okay, just play and act like you want to believe it, then the kid will be happy and will get bored about talking over it, and maybe then he will stop with his obsession.’ She gave Henry a small smile, hoping he wouldn’t notice that she was just acting like she started to believe in it.

Henry did not really notice any of Emma's expression the young ten year old was too busy trying to tell her all about Operation Cobra and the curse, it was extremely important after all that she listened and got in all this information. If she didn't she would not be prepared she had to prepared and ready to break the curse, or at least start chipping away at it.
Henry smiled gleefully at Emma's confusion about him having called the operation, Operation Cobra it just showed he had been right in picking the name, no one unless Henry told them would know what it was to do with, and it was the perfect name. Henry had not just picked it because he liked snake names which to be honest he did Cobra was an awesome name. "Exactly, that's the whole point, it's a code name no one will realize that it's about the curse," he answered her as if it was plainly obvious not that it was but to be honest that was beside the point Emma needed to know why. They walked on and Emma seemed to finally be on the same track it really started to look like she believed, this was going better than he thought. "That's right just ask anyone in town their memories are hazy everyone's, ask anyone about their life and you'll see" as he said this he swung his backpack off his back and started routing around for the pages he had ripped out. "And the curse you’re the only one who can break it and save everyone, you’re the saviour," henry stopped again looking into his backpack.

“oh okay” Emma just go with his argument on why Cobra was the name of his operation. “So if I got this right then for decades people have been walking around in a haze, not aging, with screwed up memories, stuck in a cursed town that kept them oblivious.” There appeared a quite proud smile on Emma’s face. Proud that she was finally getting the imaginable curse Henry was talking about. But when Henry mentioned the part of her being the saviour again, she didn’t know how to feel about that. She certainly didn’t feel herself like a saviour. She was Emma, just Emma.
“And I’m the only one who can break at because I’m the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming?” she frowned her eyebrows again, searching for confirmation. But Henry seemed really distracted now on trying to get something out of his backpack. “Uhm kid, what are you looking for?” she decided to help him and helped him holding the backpack so he could search for the thing he was looking properly.

"That's right I knew you would get it, like I said just ask anyone a question and you'll see they don't remember," he told her beaming at her, he had known she would be able to get it, she was the saviour she needed to do it, plus it was also quite easy to understand. He watched his real mum happy that she would be the one to break the curse, she seemed seriously smart, and she was really cool much better than his adoptive mother the Evil Queen, Emma a was good guy she would save them all.
His beam widened as Emma mentioned her being the only one who could break it, she really had been following what he had been saying, the young ten year old felt so happy. He was happier than he had been for a while now, soon he might even end up living with Emma. "You got it, your were prophesied to break it and you're the only one who can save the whole town," he told her having actually recited the lines over and over again in his mind, he was still rummaging about in the bag and was a little distracted though. When he spoke he frowned trying to find them it was as if they were not there. Emma suddenly took the backpack and held it and he looked up and nodded. "Thank you Emma very much," he told her with a cheerful smile before frowning and rummaging, "where have they gone?" He mumbled to himself a worried tone rising in his voice, he finally found the pages but he looked at them confused when he pulled them out, one of them was missing, he had the one with a picture of Emma as a baby and one of the others. There was one missing though one which mentioned Emma's name on it, Henry looked up at Emma worried, had the Queen gotten hold of it or had it gone missing, he just hoped his mum did not find it. "These, the final pages but," he handed them over to her "but one of the pages is missing, I ripped them out so mum won't know who you are, so we would have the advantage," Henry was now rather worried if his mum had it she had the information she needed, it meant they would have to work faster.

Emma frowned at the kid when he was mumbling, trying to find something which was supposed to be in his backpack. She even tried to get a look in his backpack as well, but he was blocking her sight. But when he took papers out of it, she saw the worried look in his eyes. She took the pages that he was handing over to her and gave Henry his backpack back. She took a look at the pages, switching them to see something that Henry was meaning. She actually could have known that he wanted to show her something out of the book he was reading. But she didn’t see something which proved she was the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming. “Kid….” She really didn’t know how to say it, but on these pages was nothing proving things about her or her origin. That kid really kept on talking about the curse, and about her being the daughter of some famous fairy tale characters. It was completely absurd. She began to feel herself guilty about Henry being so obsessed with all of this, that she just couldn’t tell him that she didn’t believe him. “so, where did you put the other page then? Maybe it’s somewhere in your big backpack, somewhere at the bottom?”tagged: Henry Mills

"Look at the picture Emma the baby on it is you, just look carefully really look," Henry looked at Emma still worried about what happened to that other page, he just wanted Emma to see the page and believe the baby was obviously her, he was not sure if this would work but he hoped no he believed it would. Henry accepted his backpack back and looked up at Emma waiting to see if she would see anything, the only one with a picture was of Emma as a baby, Charming and Snow White. They all looked so happy in that moment as well before they had to be separated. Soon though, soon they would fix that though everyone would be happy again and back in the Enchanted Forest. Emma asked Henry about where he put that other page and Henry stopped for a moment frowning and looking back in his bag, "It was in here in my bag I know it was now it's not not even down the bottom," he looked back up at Emma frowning and worry showing clearly in his eyes "what if the Evil Queen has it then she knows who you are," he swung his bag over his back and thought for a moment "we are going to have to act quick if she has it we have lost the advantage we need to start right after school, maybe you could pick me up as well and then we could talk about the curse some more?" Henry asked at the end being very, very serious when he said this. Emma Swan

Emma looked at the picture on one of the pages, and okay she indeed saw snow white and prince charming holding a baby. But hey every baby looked the same in Emma’s eyes, and this one was certainly not recognizable as being herself. In fact, she realised that she had not even one photo of herself being a baby or whatsoever. Emma lifted up one eyebrow. “Why would it be bad if she knows who I am? She already knows that I’m Emma…” Emma didn’t really understand what he meant with that. It was almost like if someone would know her, it would be bad. “Maybe you just put it in another backpack and you forgot about it? Look Kid, I don’t know if it’s a good idea that I pick you up from school. I’m sure your mom is going to do that. And I don’t want her to get mad at you for letting me pick you up from school instead of her.” They arrived at Henry’s school, and Emma could hear the school bell rang. “You better go Kid, or you will be late” she put one hand on his back, trying to push in towards the school entrance. "Because if she knows your the one whose got to stop her she might do something terrible to you, something bad, we can't let that happen," Henry stopped and stood still for a moment looking up at her. "I Won't let that happen, we need you to break the curse," Henry did not want his mum to try kill Emma that would be well something he did not want to think about. "No it was in this one I know it was, and I don't have another backpack i've always had this one it's beat up but it's good." Henry shook his head as she said all this trying to get her to realize he really had lost the other page which was seriously bad, "we need to find the page before mum does, we should start sometime after school or later at least." He nodded though as she mentioned his mum picking him up from school and he smiled up at her to show her he understood.
They soon arrived at the school and as they did the school bell rang which meant they would have to stop talking to each other and Henry had to go in. Not that he wanted to but he had to pretend things were normal. He let Emma push him forward "Okay Emma, I'll see you sometime after school we got to plan," He said to her as he picked up speed running into the school grounds now before turning back to face her "I knew you would believe me," Henry said his tone full of happiness.
