Hi, I'm Emma Swan. 28 years old. I live in Boston, well actually that's where my apartment is. I'm also not living in that apartment alone. Neal lives there as well. (but his cleaning isn't what it should be, believe me!) At the moment it looks like I'm in Storybrooke. But not for long, tomorrow I head to my apartment in Boston again. I'm a bailbondsperson... hey it pays the bills.

Really? do I really have to answer this one? *sighs* okay, here it goes.
The fact that I already had to 'celebrate' 28 of my birthdays mostly alone is enough to tell you that I'm not liking to tell you all about my birtday so I will move on quickly.
I have no idea where I was born, the only thing that I do know is that my parents didn't want to take care of me, so they just abandoned me at the side of the road. Charming don't you think?
As I didn't had a home to go to, I ended up in foster care, where I went from the one family to the other until I had enough from it. I took off and took care of myself. So I think I can say that my childhood wasn't exactly the most normal one.

what makes you tick? "
You guys are asking a lot of me right now, you know that? So....I'm rather closed off, so making connection with new people is not really something I'm good at. Actually I prefer less people around me. People have to do a lot of effort to get me to trust them. Every time I trusted someone before, they all let me down at the end and I don't want that to happen again.
Because I didn't had and still don't have a family myself, I think it's important that others have it. I know how it feels when you don't have it, and I don't want anyone to have that knowledge as well. Family is important and you need to value it!
I also jumped first before I looked, but after what someone did to me, that changed into thinking first, acting later.
oh and I do like bearclaws....
As I'm a bailbondsperson I can honestly say that I'm pretty good in finding people. Not by tracking but rather through internet and paper trails.
Oh and you better not try to lie against me, cause believe me, I will know!

In my eyes I don't have family. As they abandoned me I guess they didn't want me to be a part of their family so, they aren't a part of mine. The only ones that I truly can call family are the little boys that came to bring me here in this little town called Henry and Daniel. I erm... I gave them up for adoption 10 years ago... not that I'm proud of it but I... I just wanted to give them the best chance, and at that moment that wasn't with me.

Nope,I'm not seeing someone. Once I had a relationship with someone called Neal. (yes it's the same guy that shares an apartment with me in Boston) He was a very great guy, we did a lot of things which weren't exactly legal and stuff, but hey we were young and we had a lot of fun. But when things started to settle down a bit more, he got arrested. He didn't want to tell me what he did, or why he as arrested. I didn't had the chance to see him anymore and to keep on asking him what he did to get into jail, as they didn't let me visit him! I can honestly say that it broke my heart, and I promised myself to never trust someone anymore, cause I don't have the need to get hurt like that again.
