Regina walked by Henry's room as he was hoping into the shower for school. When she notice his little fairy tale book laying out in the open. Titling her head she waited till she could hear the water running. Moving quickly she grabbed the book and made her way back to the master bedroom. Closing the door, she sat down on her vanity stool and began to flip through the pages. To the Queens horror it was their story , she started to shake her headNo no , this can't be no one is suppose to remember. Going to the back of the book, she was trying to see if it could show the where about of Snow's brat. But several of the pages were missing. A slight smile crept over her rose colored lips.Henry, what are you hiding sweet heart? Picking the book back up she slowly stood up, and made her way back to her son's room. When reaching his door ,Regina leaned in the door wayHenry my love this book seems to be missing some pages. Where are they sweet heart?

It was the early hours of the morning and surprisingly Henry was not actually all that tired after last night, going from Storybrooke to Boston and then back again. It had been a long day and night yesterday for both him and Daniel, and while Daniel was still asleep actually tired out Henry on the other hand was not so tired, even if he had spent some of the night eagerly watching the clock tower to see if it would move and it had, which meant that Emma had stayed. Also before Henry had gone to bed he had ripped the last few pages out of the book so his mum could not read about Emma and then he had gone to sleep.
When Henry had woken up he had spent a bit of time watching the clock just to see if it really was moving and when he found it was another grin lit up his face. He had gone to have a shower before his mother the Evil Queen complained at him, he made sure he cleaned behind his ears, keep her happy enough and stop her finding another thing to continue making his life a misery about. Not that it would be always like that after all Emma would most likely sort that out, his real mum would save the town.
Finally finishing with the shower Henry had begun to put his school clothes on making sure they were they were not crumpled, and he was halfway through putting on his school blazer when his mum entered as he could see in the bedroom mirror, as she spoke he continued on as if she was not there his face straight. She called him sweet heart as if she really cared about him, she was most likely just saying it to make herself look good and most likely because she felt threatened by Emma, she did not care about him really not one bit. He started doing up his blazer and shrugged at what she said, "don't know, it's an old book the last person to have it must have done something with them," he told her lying right through his teeth but keeping a straight face as he finished doing up his blazer and went about putting on his tie, struggling a little to begin with.

Regina held on to the book tightly, she stood there listening to how cold he was toward. She could remember a time when he had loved her.Well if it's damaged and we have no way of knowing how it ends, perhaps we should get rid of it. The Council woman turned carrying the book with a smug smile on her face would get a rise out of him.Wake up Daniel for breakfast before you come down. She stated as she walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. Today she would find out just how attached he is to this book and what he is willing to do to keep it. Place it on the counter Regina walked over to the cabinet and pulled down two bowls and box of frosted flakes. Moving toward the counter she laid out the items for her boys. Grabbed the book up and waited for the children to enter the room

Henry had thought his reply had been a good reply, however it apparently had not been because as he continued with doing his tie up her next words filled him with dread, and even more hate for his mother. She told him that if the story had no ending she might as well get rid of it. He tried not to show his emotions but if one was to look in his eyes you could clearly see he was annoyed. He needed that book, it was the key to breaking the curse and getting Emma to believe him, how else was he going to get her to, he still had the final pages but he needed that book. Henry opened his mouth to say something but she had already gone, calling back to tell him to wake Daniel up. In response he finished doing his tie up and shouted hoping it would travel downstairs, "I HATE YOU!"
Henry woke his twin up as quickly as possible wanting to get the book back; he just needed to think through some ideas on how he was going to do it. The young ten year old had a few ideas and none of these ideas he really liked at all. There was one he would try maybe he could get her to understand, even if she was the Evil Queen she had to understand somehow. He came downstairs putting his backpack next to the door and walked into the room where is mum was. "Mum can I please have my book back, it may not have the last pages but it's more about creating your own ending, it doesn't matter if it's not completed," Henry had no idea if that would work but as an extra help he looked up at her giving her one of his innocent please faces.

Regina smiled when Henry stated he hated herNo you don't sweet heartshe stated as she walked over to the kitchen table to be able to sit down. He sounded so much like her when she was young, the brunette sat down at the table clutching the book to her chest. She rubbed the spot between brows, Regina wished he could just see that she did in fact love him. She was just bad at showing it.
Hearing his foot steps against the black and white tile of the kitchen floor. Regina lifted her head to look at him. She smiled really the innocent face Henry I thought you that move.No you can do better then that.I want a complete reason along with details and you have until you finish your breakfast. At the end of it, if you haven't convince me. You will watch me burn your book with out single argument.

At his mums answer to his shouting at her Henry had kicked the bedroom door rather angrily, something he was sure he was going to regret later but at this moment he did not care even if he had been in similar situations before and had been punished for it, he did not care, she had taken his book and he hated her for it and he meant it. He wanted to say more but he could not think of anything, he just hated her so much.
His first try at getting the book back did not work one bit in fact she seemed rather impervious the the innocent puppy dog look, it had been worth a try though and he felt even worse that she still would not give him the book. He walked further into the kitchen and sat down at the table that was when she mentioned that if he could not convince her she would burn it his mind went into a panic. This was a present it was special to him why would she do that, he just wanted to cry when she said that but instead an idea formed in his mind. Henry shrugged at his mother. "It's only a book it's not like the stories are real," he said lying but keeping a straight bored look and pouring himself some cereal then looks up "I'm sorry for saying I hate you mum I was being silly," he smiled at her though not really wanting to before going back to his cereal.

Smiling at her clever clever son, "Well good, I think I will keep it for a little while then. Since its just a book you wont mind." If Henry thought he was going to play her well let the game begin, because this Queen was in it to win it. Watching Henry act bored as pour his meal. It was a pity that he never wanted to participate on some of the school he had a natural talent for it. Letting go of the book to place it in front of her, Regina waited for the argument of it was his book and the normal blah blah of how dare she why did she hate him. Every time he would say that it really did kill her. Regina loved both of the boy equally , she just what ever that changed between them would stop. The council woman missed her son that would crawl up into her lap and just rock him to sleep. But those days have pasted . Henry Mills

"Okay mum it's fine, you should read it, or read it to Daniel," Henry looked up at his mum and gave her a friendly smile not that he meant it but he certainly faked it, "I'm sure Daniel will enjoy the book," he added still pretending not to take much of an interest in it, he wondered how long he could keep this up trying to be nice to his mum and pretend that he did not care about the book one bit. Part of him really wanted to have ago at his mum and every now and then Henry found himself fiddling his eyes drawing to the book.
Henry stopped it thought and just continued quietly eating his bowl of cereal before looking back up at Regina his head snapping up quickly, and he gave her a really happy looking grin, but he hoped his mum would not find that too odd. "your picking Daniel and me up from school today right mum?" Henry asked her casually both curious and trying to get something.

"I've already read this story before Henry. I didn't care for the ending." Regina tone is flat and dull. Placing her hands on the dark brown cover, she wouldn't dare let this Daniel look at this horrendous thing.
Watching him eat his breakfast , if Henry thought that he was going to try and out smart her. Her son had better come up with something a little bit more creative back. "Of course I am why would i miss the appointment with Dr. Hopper? That is important to me@admin

Henry looked at her pretending to be confused and just any old loving son, "Why don't you like the ending? It's a really good one mum you should." Henry smiled at her wanting to see what type of lie she would come up with. As He asked he watched her move her hands over it before returning to his cereal and eating it slowly.
"Okay are you coming in for the session ?" He obviously knew she would not but there had been a few times where she had for whatever reason. He then looked up at his mother with a smile, "mum you know we have show and tell at school today, I was thinking of taking the book to talk about the different interpretations of fairytale's, I could also take the traditional ones and the newer ones, with this book?" He kept his happy and friendly smile before digging into the cereal faster like the was nothing going on.

Regina smiled at Henry question, she knew it was time for him stop coming to the council meeting or at least stop spending time McAllister. "I hate fairytales and there preconceived notions of good and evil Henry. Because there aren't any here." She leaned forward resting her forearms against the table top."What is here would be power and those strong enough to get it,and those to weak to try , well should do the world a favor and go died." Pushing up out of her chair using the table for balance,"Yes I will be there darling ,Dr.Hopper want all of us today something about it being good to talk out some issues." Regina smiled as picked up the book before turning to him and bending at her to be able to whisper in his ear."You'll have to try better then that Henry, and I guess you'll have to find something else for show and tell as well " Henry Mills

Henry wanted to say something back to his mother as she mentioned what she did about fairytale's and what she said about power, to be honest how she spoke about it unnerved him and well he felt like he should tell her how she was wrong, about how that what she was saying was not good it was Evil. Something told him though that saying something like that would just play into her hands. He frowned though which said everything but then spoke "I'm confused I thought you taught me and Daniel wishing people dead was wrong?" he asked quite honestly and genuinely, really wanting to know her response.
"Oh okay," he replied sort of disappointed he did not really like his mother being there in the sessions it was like she was spying on him, he had actually also expected it just to be him and Daniel. She started whispering in his ear and he closed his eyes trying to ignore her voice, then he looked down at his cereal pushing it around the bowl with his spoon before an idea jumped into his head. "That's fine you can keep the book I've got something better," Henry sounded excited and jumped off his seat running over to the side and picking up a familiar object. It was a red slab with a young boys hand print on it, in little engraved letters above the hand was Henry's name, and at the bottom was the words for mommy. Henry looked up at her with an excited grin "I could take this to show and tell to show them how much I do love you, remember I made it myself for you."

Laughing of course Henry would remember that"Did I say that, well let me add this then. In life you will meet people you wish dead ,you will wish harm on. The point is to make them believe you care that enjoy." She sneered and bent to grabbed a hold of his chin."The point is to be their down fall, to win at all cost thats how you get your happy ever after my dear." Leaving the book on the table , she knew Henry eyes were on it. Regina walked over to counter to pour herself some coffee."Yes see you there." When he ran off to grab a hold of the plate he made with hand print, she smiled at him."hmm I agree with this choice my dear, very sweet." Henry Mills

Henry tried to look away from his mother as she cupped his chin but every time he tried he found himself looking right back at her mainly because of how easy it was for her to control his movements like that. The sneer on her face was making him uncomfortable and he was rather struggling not to call her evil, his eyes betrayed how he felt though showing that he did not believe her. "There are other ways to get happy endings, only bad people would wish harm on another," he told her defiantly, finding a way around calling her evil directly, "I don't want to be like that!" He exclaimed looking right up into her eyes.
As Henry showed her the plate he ha made for her he noticed the book set on the table and knew instantly what his mother was trying to do, get him to try grab it and run with it or try hide it from her or something, that would just get him in trouble and possibly grounded, how was he going to help Emma then. "Awesome I'll, just finish off my breakfast then put it in my bag," now purposefully pretending to have no interest in the book at all, not even looking at it maybe she would give it to him. Henry began wolfing down his breakfast. "Are you having a meeting with Mr Millers today?" he asked

How idealist Henry was , there are no others ways to get what you want in life. Taking a sip of coffee from the mug she held in her hands. "I guess I am, I do hate to summon like a dog he could wrote a letter instead of of leaving a message on the answering machine.
Walking back to the table she picked the book up "Eat all of it, so you wont be to starved by lunch." She walked out of kitchen and in to her study fine if wanted pretend this meant nothing then he wont mind her keeping it.
Getting to the safe Regina place her mug down on top of it. Punching in the code to open the small door, throwing the book half hazard into it. "Sweet heart don't be late for school." She stated as she slammed the door of the safe shut.
